Even as a young child my passion for cooking ran deep.

My choice of profession was clear early on: chef. Subsequently, I began my apprenticeship which I completed successfully in 2010. Starting as early as 2008 I was able to gather first glimpses and experiences in the world of food styling, working for a company called “Set Up” as well as freelancing as an assistant to various seasoned food stylists. In doing so my passion for food styling truly began to take shape.

Upon completing my apprenticeship I began collecting experience in a professional kitchen, working – amongst others – for the “Steigenberger Axelmannstein”, for the Berlin Hilton’s restaurant “Max Brandenburg” as well as for the restaurant “Tim Raue”.

Early 2013 saw me hanging up my chef’s hat and moving to Hamburg. Here my career as a a freelance food stylist began to take roots. In the early stages I mainly worked as an assistant to well known and seasoned food stylists in the television advertising industry through which I was able to hone and perfect my craft. During that same year I worked together with German tv chef Mike Süsser to create the cookbook “Süsser, was kochen wir heute?“. Ever since then my work has progressed from  television advertising to photographing and styling food for print media, grocery stores and billboards.
